Kristen Garry is a photographer who lives full-time in Edwards, Colorado and one of her daily goals is to observe and enjoy the beauty around her, in particular, the abundant wildlife, landscapes, wildflowers, and dark night skies in the Vail Valley.
Kristen admired photography growing up, but always questioned whether she could create her own worthy images because she was born with only one hand and sophisticated cameras all seemed to require two hands to operate. After retiring from a career as a tax lawyer in a major law firm, Kristen has been thrilled to discover that companies like Sony now offer high-end compact cameras that she can operate single-handedly, allowing her to capture quality images from her unique perspective.
