Photography Group

The Photography Group of the Vail Valley Art Guild is a welcoming environment, open to all skill levels of photographers and those interested in a variety of photography subjects (e.g., travel, landscape, wildlife, portraits and still-life).  The group is a place for learning about photography, a source of inspiration from other members, and a community in the Vail Valley.

Our meetings in 2026 will be held on the Third Thursday of each month, starting at 6:30p.  We plan to have a combination of in-person meetings at the Avon Gallery and on-line meetings over Zoom.  In addition, we will hold outings (i.e., casual meet-ups for members to photograph together).

We encourage you to attend a monthly meeting to learn more about the group before you decide to join.
