"Images with Impact: The Power of Conservation Photography" with Todd Winslow Pierce

Since the 1860’s, photography has played a pivotal role in the preservation of the world’s most treasured landscapes. The power of visual storytelling communicates efficiently and emotionally,

connecting us with the natural world and inspiring us to protect it.  In "Images with Impact," Todd Winslow Pierce will highlight key milestones in conservation, when photographs made all the difference in public awareness, appreciation, understanding and most importantly, in environmental legislation.

Todd will also share a brief background of his career and how conservation photography became his primary focus in recent years. He’ll also share the origin and mission of Conservation Photo Initiative, his nonprofit organization that uses the power of photography to help protect critical landscapes and habitats in Eagle County and beyond.
