Lorenzo Chavez's art reflects his deep passion for the American West. Lorenzo is a renowned fine art instructor and artist who has taught numerous workshops across the U.S. He is represented by many prestigious fine art galleries including private and corporate collectors, both nationally and internationally. Lorenzo participates in numerous fine arts events including exhibits and show openings including his solo exhibit "A Road less Traveled" drawing inspiration from the undisturbed colors of nature.

Materials List:
Pastels - largest assortment of colors possible; Rembrandt pastels are a fine pastel to begin with; conte crayons, earth tones. A great pastel box for working in the field is the Heilman box www.heilmandesigns.com
Paper - Bring your favorite pastel surface. I enjoy using Canson Moonstone and UArt 400 grit sanded pastel paper.
Size recommended for studio classes: 16”x 20”- 12”x 16”
Drawing board – Studio bring a larger size drawing board for 12x16-16x20 size pastel paper sheets.
French easel (Julian™) - half box. Your favorite outdoor easel.
Small sketchbook - 8 1/2 x 11
Black broad tip marker
Masking tape - 1" –Scotch brand
Kneaded eraser
