About the event

Learn about/brush up on different watercolor techniques such as Wet-on-Wet, Wet-on-Dry and Dry-on-Wet in this 4 hour Mini Workshop.  You will use the techniques you learn to paint a solid object (such as an orange) and learn how to layer the paint and use shading to make it look 3-D.  You will also use the techniques we learn to paint some flowers.  Whether you are curious about watercolors, you need a refresher, or you want the comradery of creating in a group, this workshop is for you!

Elaine lives in Vail, Colorado and has a place at the beach in Delaware. She has long been inspired by the beauty and grandeur of the mountains and the quiet beauty of the aspens in the snow. There are other subjects that attract attention and beg to be painted or sketched, such as gardens and the seashore and ocean. She is part of a long-established life drawing group in Delaware and loves painting and sketching people.  To see Elaine's work visit www.elainekuntz.com

All levels are welcome!  All supplies are included!

There will be a half hour lunch break – bring your own or get a tasty bite at Red Canyon Café, Yeti’s Grind or Canela’s in downtown Eagle.

The Mini Workshop Series is brought to you by a generous donation from The Charter at Beaver Creek
