Guild Guide • September 2024

The weather is cooling off. The crispness in the air will soon be reflected in the aspens blanketing the mountainsides in oranges and yellows. A different seasonal energy is on the horizon!

11th Annual Vail Valley Fine Art Show, Art and Jazz Reception

Make sure to RSVP so we have enough (free!) food and drink for all of you!

... and for a quick little August re-cap

Our children's music and art classes wound to a close as kids prepared to return to school, as did the evening adult art classes, guitar, and percussion instruction • The Lorenzo Chavez Workshop was a well-attended success • The Guild raised several thousand dollars at the Annual Affordable Art Fair in Minturn • Randall Case's 2-Day Workshop was a fun ride learning to combine acrylics and oil pastels • Rick Spitzer's iPhone Workshop was incredible, useful, fun and will be often repeated! • Guild members broke bread together at our president's home for the Annual Potluck Dinner • Bibi Rivero's work hung at the Vail Public Library during August and Raj Makickham showed his photography for the month at Avon Public Library • Lots of activity for the Vail Valley Art Guild!
